Katrina Ashton (Director)

Katrina is a Katapult Company Director - other responsibilities include; Client Account Management, Artwork & Design and General Management.

Katrina has established herself as a true marketing and merchandising expert and has garnered a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the industry including; local and overseas production, product design and manufacture, concept development, sales, logistics, importing, tender proposals, graphic design and product and branding specifics.

Her greatest assets are in her creativity and passion for the industry, her ability to forge and maintain strong client relationships and friendships, and her relentless work ethic and commitment to her client’s to make it all happen.

Prior to establishing Katapult, Katrina worked for eight years within the industry, with two large merchandising companies, as an Account Executive and Marketing Director. 

 

Damian Brown (Director)

 

Damian Brown (Director)Popeye

Damian is a Katapult Company Director - other responsibilities include; Client Account Management, Finance Manager and General Management.

Prior to establishing Katapult, Damian achieved extensive sporting success, representing Australia, in Weightlifting, at three Olympic Games (’92, ’96, ’00) and four Commonwealth Games (’90, ’94, ’98, ’02), winning 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals. He was honoured as the Australian Team Flag Bearer, at the Opening Ceremony for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Damian’s prior vocational experience includes: Six-years as a Secondary School Teaching; General Manager of Olympic Communicators; Consultant with ICMI Speakers & Entertainers; and Business Development Manager of OJOP within Ernst & Young and the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC). Damian was also an Executive Board Member of the AOC, and Chairman of the AOC Athletes’ Commission (2000-2004).

He also has a Masters Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport Business and a Bachelor of Education.

Minira Mehmet

(Account Management & Operations)

Minira has a delightful and cheerful nature which she effortlessly combines with a steadfast work ethic and great professionalism in her work.

Minira has the ability to always stay upbeat and composed, despite the often relentless grueling workload and daily grind. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her and you can always count on Minira for her selfless help and support. She also has an uncanny ‘skill’ of being able to chat and banter (constantly) without compromising her ability to work effectively - a rare gift indeed!

She has many roles and responsibilities at Katapult, including; Client Account Management, Director support and a leading role in the Production and Operations of the business.  

Minira’s academic achievements include, a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications, and she has prior vocational experience working at Network Ten, in Publicity & Promotions and also at Nova Radio, in Assistant Producing on the Breakfast Show.

Road Runner

Renee Farrugia (Operations)

Renee is Katapult’s dynamo and speed machine. She powers through her work load and responsibilities at a cracking pace and in fact, craves for more work to be piled on top - it is only at this point that she is happy and content.

She is extremely efficient and effective and is always focused on the job at hand. She has a passion (or a bee in her bonnet) in finding the quickest and most effective way to get the job done - which is why she has earned her nickname, ‘Short-cut’.

Renee’s roles and responsibilities at Katapult include; supporting the Directors and Account Management Team, organising and facilitating much of the daily production, logistical and operational requirements and she is also very handy with the accounting requirements of the business. The ultimate all-rounder!

Renee has a broad skill base, varied educational qualifications and career experience working previously within the; Law, Property, Retail and Marketing Industries.

 

 

Minnie Mouse

Christine Accetta (Art & Design & Operations)

Christine has an abundance of style, charm and an artistic flare - which is why the majority of her responsibilities are centred within Katapult’s artwork and design department. She combines this creativity with an unassuming and pragmatic approach to her work. With Christine, sure and steady wins the race!

Christine manages and is responsible for, all facets involved in the development and application of finished artwork (e.g. company logo's) that are branded onto a countless array of products and merchandise. She also has major responsibilities in the general operations and daily production requirements at Katapult.

Prior to joining the Katapult Team, Christine worked at several organisations including; 3AW, Southern Cross Broadcasting, Network Ten and Bassett Consulting Engineers - in a variety of positions, including; Desk Top Publishing, Team Administrator, Executive Assistant, Sales Coordinator and Promotions Coordinator.
